BrainBeat Product Reviews
Two of my sons, who have difficulties with attention and focus, used BrainBeat, and it has helped them in those areas. My youngest is adopted from the foster system, and using BrainBeat noticeably helped him to improve. After having him for three months and using Brainbeat, among other factors (counseling, homeschooling, and parenting) his case workers were amazed, and said he was a whole different kid. While BrainBeat is not a complete fix-all for a child’s problems, it is an excellent tool to add in a many pronged strategy. Right now, two of my sons are on maintenance. There are similar programs through doctors/therapy that can cost up to $5,000, so the cost of BrainBeat is much more reasonable, comparatively speaking.
Love using Brainbeat with my grandson. He is always anxious to conquer new worlds, improve his school, and hopefully perform better at school.
Brain Beat helped my older grandson, age 10, to focus more and his teacher noticed a change in his attention at school. However, it was not as big a change as I had hoped for. He still seems to have focus issues. He has gone back to re-do some of the sessions and I will encourage him to do so in the future.
The program did not seem to work for my younger grandson, age 7, who is diagnosed with ADHD. He got over-stimulated by all the noise on the earphones and by the visuals. I am waiting til he is a little older to re-introduce it.
My son enjoyed doing it and progressively got better as he continued sessions. But I didn’t notice much difference in his attention span and/or ability to focus.
My 8 year old dyslexic daughter uses the program here at home. She likes it but wishes more of the games were about animals ( like building the robot dog). As a parent , I felt it was a bit pricey but I did what I could to raise the money and was disappointed it only came with one set ( not multiplayer). My daughter would like to play it with her friends and cousins that come over. Any ideas on how to make it multiplayer?
The customer service was excellent at Brain Beat, they dealt with my issue with speed, accuracy and courtesy.
Thank you

“Attention, learning and problem solving depend in part on the ability to plan and sequence actions and ideas. This technology helps individuals systematically exercise and often improve basic motor planning and sequencing capacities. It provides a long needed and important educational and learning approach to improve a number of critical foundations in the learning process.”

“BrainBeat is an amazing tool that is helpful in driving concentration, focus, and self regulation with school aged children. I have used it with both special needs and typically developing children – and have had great results from both! It’s a great tool for parents, and fun for kids. “No other video gaming system offers what BrainBeat does – it’s affordable, fun, interactive, and purposeful.”

“In our clinical experience, this training appears to address spatial problems at the neural level, preparing the brain to be receptive to learn, and because of the repetitions it becomes automatic.”
